Frederick V Wittelsbach, King of Bohemia

   Another name for Frederick was Frederick the Winter King.

Elector Palantine who was in 1619 chosen to fill the throne of Bohemia. Next year the "Winter King" was defeated by the Catholic League, and the Bohemian royal family endured sore poverty in Holland. They had a total of 13 children. {Chamber’s Biographical Dictionary} [GADD.GED]
