  General Notes:

Benjamin3, b. 13 Oct. 1692; d. in Sharon, Conn., in 1760; his dealings with his father and brother are noted above. In his will he calls himself "dangerously sick" and bequeaths "To my beloved kinsman Thomas Landers of Kent [Conn.] all my land in Rochester in Plymouth County [Mass.].... To my eldest brother Nathan Landers, 10s.4d. To my sister Anna Griffeth, 10s.4d. To my sister Mary Peckham, 10s.4d. To my sister Jane Bessey, all my cattle. The rest of my estate I give to my brother Joseph Landers". He appointed his cousin Joseph Landers executor. The will was signed by mark and witnessed by Elizabeth Taylor, Daniel Raymond, Cotton Mather Smith (Docket 1995 at Hartford, Conn.); the inventory, dated 8 May, sworn to 23 Jun 1760, taken by Nathan Nye, Jr., Andrew Haskell and Nathaniel Ruggles.
