General Notes:
ELIAKIM4 PERRY (Eliakim,3 Benjamin,2 Ezra1), born in Norwich, Conn., 22 Feb. 1752, died probably after 1800, perhaps in Herkimer or Cayuga County, N. Y., but perhaps in or near Middletown, Vt. He married about 1774 ANNA DOWNER, born 9 Aug. 1745, daughter of Edmund and Anna (Munsell) Downer.
Mrs. Bristol (op. cit.) says he enlisted in the Revolution from Bennington, Vt., and that he afterwards settled in Tinmouth (later Middletown), where his father lived. The 1790 Census lists "Eliakim Perry, Jr.," at Tinmouth with a family of 1 male over 16, 4 under 16 and 3 females. He is listed similarly in the 1800 Census. [Ezra Perry of Sandwich, Mass. Eliakim married Lydia Anna Downer, daughter of Edmund Downer and Anna Munsell, about 1774.139 (Lydia Anna Downer was born on 9 Aug 1745 139,585.)
