General Notes: LYDIA, b. about 1740; d. after 11 April 1774; m. (1), SILAS WILLIAMS, d. before 10 Sept. 1770, when "Lydia Williams, widow of Easton" and her brothers Nathaniel and Samuel Perry sold land in Taunton which had belonged to the estate of their "Honoured father Nathaniel Perry, late of Easton, deceased" (Bristol County Deeds, vol. 52, p. 288); m. (2), before 11 April 1774, THOMAS TISDALE, when in a deed Nathaniel Perry's heirs include "Thomas Tisdale and Lydia his wife, of Easton" (ibid., vol. 56, p. 156). [Ezra Perry of Sandwich, Mass. (c. 1625-1689), By Lydia B. (Phinney) Brownson, of Buzzard's Bay, Mass., and Maclean W. McLean, of Pittsburgh, Pa., NEHGS 115 (1960)] Lydia married Silas Williams.139 (Silas Williams died before 10 Sep 1770 139.) Lydia next married Thomas Tinsdale before 11 Apr 1774.139 |
