LUTHER5 PERRY (Phineas,4 Elijah,3 John,2 Ezra1), born 14 Feb. 1770, died 2 July 1845 (ibid.). He married in Barre, Mass., 15 March 1801, HARRIET HOWES, born in 1783, daughter of Edmund and Abigail (Crosby) Howes of Barre.
He is named in his father's will and when the executors, his brothers Luke and Calvin, declined to serve they requested, 14 Nov. 1769, that their brother "Luther Perry of Brookfield, gentleman, serve in their place." Thereupon Luther was appointed administrator (Worcester County Probate, File 46180) . It is probable that he moved from Barre after the birth of his first three children. He may well have had other children.
