David5 Gibbs[A] (Solomon,4 Thomas,3 Thomas,2 Thomas1) was born in Sandwich 1 June 1769 and died there 23 July 1844 "aet. 76" (Sandwich Town Records).
He married 12 May 1797 Rebeckah Rogers (Sandwich Town Records).
As in the case of his brother Warren (above) much work remains to be done on this family. Since his death occurred after the date of the fire at the County Courthouse, it would seem that both deed and probate registries must furnish additional data.
