John Rogers

  General Notes:

John Rogers died Milford 1684, his will dated 1 December 1683, inventory 9 May 1684, and will filed and approved 11 June 1684. He married Ruth (___). He was a freeplanter in Milford in 1639 and had lot #47, 1 acre 3 rods and 30 poles, now present West Town Street. His will mentions his children Eliezer, John, Hannah, Jabez, and Abigail. Also "Abigail Stiles" and "Ephraim Stiles, my son-in-law" and "Ruth Bearslye my grandchild." He was admitted to the church 28 May 1642 and Ruth his wife admitted 3 November 1644.
