ELEVENTH GENERATION

1666. Capt. William Perry was born on 29 May 1767. He died on 1 Jun 1843. Capt. William built his house on a low bluff on the cove near Gray Gables, in Bourne, Mass. During the hurricane of September 1816 a tidal wave swept one of the Captain’s pigs right into the family pantry. (It feasted while the family fled to higher ground) Capt. Perry served in the Merchant Marine, and in later years, when he became lame, taught navigation in Bourne. [PERRY.TXT]

He was married to Bathsheba Perry (daughter of John Perry and Bathsheba Gibbs) on 15 Apr 1795. Bathsheba Perry was born on 6 May 1773. Capt. William Perry and Bathsheba Perry had the following children:
