384. Samuel Perry was born on 25 Oct 1735 in Sandwich, Barnstable, MA. ^(146)(10) He died about 1829. ⁽¹⁴⁶⁾ He has Ancestral File number NQNC-HC. Samuel was known as "the wrestler". He lived on his grandfather Ezra’s homestead, and was likely the first to support the "Tory’s" in this branch. He was imprisoned in Sandwich, but fled to the British troops in Rhode Island. The families of Samuel, Thomas and Silas all moved to Shelburne, N.S. in 1783. He had served in the British Navy during the Revolution, and was granted 375 A at Cape Negro, near Shelbourne (he arrived with the Port Roseway Associates). [PERRY.TXT, Kindred Konnections-Bumpus]

He was married to Thankful Bourne on 2 Nov 1758. ⁽¹⁴⁶⁾ Thankful Bourne was born on 28 Jul 1742 in Sandwich, Barnstable, MA.⁽¹⁴⁶⁾ She died on 10 Jun 1832.⁽¹⁴⁶⁾ Also have birth as 1738. Samuel Perry and Thankful Bourne had the following children:
